Cutting back on Snacking

In my attempts to be healthier at college, I am trying to cut back on the late night snacking. That means no ordering calzones at 2 am (though, I am proud to say, I haven’t done that once this whole year) or eating Honey Bunches of Oats while I surf other WordPress food blogs (something that happens way too often). The picture above is not of calzones but rather fried Korean dumplings. Though I have recently been craving some sort of dumpling-like snack late at night, I will stay strong and resist my cravings. A possible way to avoid late night snacking is going to bed earlier. I will happily fall asleep knowing that breakfast is right around the corner.

Good luck with that! I try to grab some fruit and cottage cheese but sometimes a granola bar wins out.

Thanks! But having a granola bar isn’t so bad too! I like breaking a Nature Valley granola bar and putting it in some yogurt 🙂

Honey Bunches of Oats is my favorite snack food…but I no longer purchase it. Out of sight, out of mind?

That’s a good idea honestly! I have a box of Honey Bunches of Oats right by my desk, which tempts me so much (even when I am not really hungry). I should just get rid of it.
