Sand Cookies no More!
Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite type of cookie, so I was distraught last semester when I bit into one from the cafeteria, and it crumbled all over me. Sandy is the best word to describe its texture. As I painstakingly ate the cookie, I imagined it tasted like the pretend desserts I used to concoct as a little kid on the beach – pies, cakes, and cookies all made of sand. (Not that I ate these when I was a little kid). Today, they had chocolate chip cookies again, and I am glad to report these ones were normal tasting, hence the smiley face in the picture.
