The countdown has begun: just a little over three weeks till I go home, where I have a kitchen at my disposal. The days seem to fly by, mostly due to the fact that it feels like spring outside. Who would have thought that it would be in the 50s in February? (Just a reminder, I am in New England). I remember last year it snowed on April 1st (what a great April fools joke).
To celebrate this warm weather, I can’t wait to make strawberry rhubarb pie, which to me, perfectly embodies the essence of spring.
