Very Amused

I am very amused at the thought of my eating smaller portions. Even though I enjoy eating healthy, I need my large portions. I’ve acquired the nickname “hungry bear” – quite embarrassing I know, but I weirdly enough love it too because it accurately describes me.

Whenever I go to a restaurant, I get annoyed when the portion-size is way too small, leaving me hungry and snacking when I get home. My portion point of view has one exception: the amuse-bouche which is supposed to be a bite-sized hors d’oeuvre. I love how even though an amuse-bouche is small, it is packed with flavor and texture. That one absolutely exquisite bite lasts for moments but leaves me with a lasting memory.

This is really funny cause even I hate it when the serving at a restaurant is small. Well, a happy stomach is all I need. 🙂

But from what you have describe above, this amuse-bouche does tickle my hunger bone, and I cant wait to try it someday.

Actually, I am quite hungry right now looking at the pic…

Amuse-bouches are so delicious, and they are complimentary at restaurants, so this is perhaps another reason why I am ok with their small size!

Ok…I think that’s enough. I do not wish to listen to how delicious amuse-bouches are. Living in India, these exotic dishes from faraway lands only makes me weak. 🙂

And I now understand why are you ok with the small size. Anything that is complementary is good for a hungry soul I guess.
