An Apple a Day Makes the Cider Doughnut OK
I actually might need to eat a couple of apples to balance out this unhealthy doughnut that I ate the other evening at a campus event. I like cider doughnuts in general, but the ones from Atkins Farms are the best I’ve ever had. They are soft yet slightly crispy on the outside, and the sugar on top adds a mild sweetness and subtle but pleasant texture. The best way to eat a cider doughnut is with a nice hot cup of apple cider. As the weather is getting warmer, I like to eat it with cold apple cider or on it’s own. All I need is a napkin to wipe off the sugar that gets on my mouth and chin – the reality I face from being a messy eater.
Cider doughnuts?? Have to instigate for a recipe, the name just make me want to have one or two or …. 🙂
I wish I could tell you a recipe, but I have no clue how to replicate the delicious one I ate let alone make them. Let me know if you find a good recipe 🙂
Will do for sure 🙂
