Time to Switch from Steamy to Icy

The weather is absolutely glorious today, and I am in a great mood. This just reminds me how much I am affected by the weather, and sometimes I wonder why I chose I college in the northeast rather than the west coast. In any case, this morning marked the transition from warm to cold beverages. I ordered an iced coffee from Starbucks, and though it was rather good, I remembered why I make my iced coffee at home. There was so much ice in the cup and so little coffee. What a rip!

When I prepare my iced coffee, I like putting foam on top and a little cinnamon; my concoction reminds me of an iced cappuccino. It never fails to quench my thirst, and it saves me almost $2.00. With that kind of money, I can buy half a cupcake.

It’s funny you posted this today. On my way to work I was thinking I should’ve made an iced coffee. Even though I am a fan of Starbucks, now that I’ve perfected my own iced coffee at home I rarely ever buy one! Bring on the summer & the iced cold frosty drinks!

You can also brew it with cold water over night. Better for iced coffees and less acidic for your body.

That’s a really good idea. I’ve never done that before, but I will try it next time I make iced coffee.
