Shabu-Shabu and Bibimbap

Although bibimbap is Korean and shabu-shabu is Japanese, I love eating both of them in the same meal. The bibimbap below (which has rice, mushrooms, soy bean sprouts, tofu, and other delicious ingredients I cannot figure out) was prepared in a hot sizzling stone pot.

I always order the beef and vegetable shabu-shabu and cook the meat and veggies in a pot of boiling water. (Don’t worry, the food in the last two pictures is for three). I love how eating becomes an interactive experience.
